My review of the knife Cold Steel Outdoorsman Hunting

Hunting knives most fail. They are both rust, lose their sharpness when you need it most, or crack under pressure.

Cold Steel knives of high quality for the last 20 years and are well aware of harsh reality.

This is exactly why they created what may be the best hunting knife on the market. The Outdoorsman.

Here are my thoughts about the knife very hyped:

What I like about the Outdoorsman:

1. The 6 "blade is madewith three laminated layers of steel called VG-1 San Mai III.

This steel) has an inner core (cutting of the VG-1 steel. There is a layer of much softer 400 series stainless steel on each side, which gives the flexibility of the blade.

San steel can is about as good as it gets without spending more than $ 1,000.

2. It is time tested design drop point is perfect for skinning game.

3. You will have a crest on the back of the blade, which looks like an 'Bloodgroove.

This is actually a bone mill, a hammer, or you can use the edge grinding machine.

4. Directly behind the mill bone) is jimping (slots thumb. This function is to apply direct pressure, if you need to make precise cuts to be perfect.

5. The Cold Steel Outdoorsman has a finger guard and pommel, which are made of stainless steel. This will give you extra piece of mind.

6. Complete construction Tang means that there is no reason for concernthe blade separating from the handle.

What I dislike:

1. Partial waves would be useful in this knife, but otherwise I have no major complaints.

Total:

With a suggested retail price of $ 285, the knives from Cold Steel Outdoorsman is worth every penny.

It is built like a tank and stood up to even the most difficult situations.
