I had used it so much the metal worn down and made the handle thin where the holes in the handle pivot on the crusher arms. I ordered another one but this time I will reverse the handle after 10 years. I think I will get 20 plus years on my second one. I might put a drop of oil on it once a year.
I do not think you will find a better made product, you should get a minimum of 15 years without any problem.
